The BUNCH "HEART HUNTER" is a tribute to one of nature’s most resilient materials: Natural Urushi Lacquer. Using the sophisticated Ishime-ji technique, our artisans apply layers of raw lacquer to create a surface that mimics the weathered, stoic texture of volcanic stone.
Unlike synthetic coatings, Urushi is a "living" medium. It breathes and hardens over decades, becoming more transparent and brilliantly deep as it ages. The Stone-Surface finish provides a grounding, anti-slip tactile experience, while the deep charcoal tones reflect the quiet focus of a hunter in the wild.
